RUMPELSTILTSKIN MEETS MOZART
About the Story
Rumpelstiltskin, the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, is about a little man that agrees to help a poor girl who will be killed by the King unless she can spin gold out of straw. The catch is: she must guess his name or give up her first born child.
Rumpelstiltskin Meets Mozart is told with musical themes from Symphony No. 40 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Music from different parts of the symphony invite you to use your imagination as they appear throughout the story.
Symphony No. 40, nicknamed the “Great G Minor Symphony”, was one of Mozart’s final masterpieces and is written in the style of the Classical Era. The music heard in this Musical Fairytale is performed by Baby B Strings.
