THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

ANSWER BEETHOVEN FIVE

About the Story

Throughout history, there have been many different versions of The Three Little Pigs. Some are shorter than others, and some are more intense than others. We use the one told by folklorist Joseph Jacob, who also popularized some of best known versions of The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and countless others.

We all know the story of the little pigs who go off to build homes for themselves, and fall victim to the big bad wolf. But in The Three Little Pigs Answer Beethoven Five the story goes one step further in winning victory for the last pig.

Hobuco creates a dramatic backdrop for The Three Little Pigs with Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. The opening notes of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony in C minor is iconic and commands your attention. The same four-note motif is sprinkled throughout the original symphony and is heard throughout The Three Little Pigs Answer Beethoven Five. Listen as the narrator tells this classic fairy tale and the fate of the wolf and little pigs.
